Job Overview

The Area Supervisor is part of the Store Leadership team, responsible for a specific area of the store, overseeing operations, supervising associates, and ensuring a friendly shopping environment. They handle opening and closing the store, merchandise presentation, and maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintaining Safe & Secure Environments: Ensuring safety protocols, security of the store, and emergency procedures are followed.
2. Customer Service: Demonstrating professionalism, respect, and courtesy to customers and associates.
3. Store Brand & Merchandising: Upholding the company brand, maintaining store appearance, and managing merchandise presentation.
4. Loss Prevention: Implementing loss prevention strategies, safeguarding merchandise, and maintaining surveillance systems.
5. Front End Operations: Managing checkout processes, supervising cashiers, and ensuring efficient customer flow.
6. Fitting Rooms: Maintaining cleanliness and organization, ensuring proper tagging and return of garments.
7. Administrative Duties: Handling cash deposits, scheduling, payroll, and other store management tasks.
8. Supervisory Responsibilities: Overseeing retail associates and stockroom leads.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Ability to perform basic math
• Availability to work evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and use store equipment as needed.

Additional Information

Salary range: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour, dependent on experience and location.
