Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking an Area Supervisor to oversee daily operations across multiple sites, ensuring adherence to procedures, quality, maintenance, safety, and schedules on assigned shifts. The role requires travel and bilingual Spanish proficiency to support diverse teams and customers.

You will develop operating budgets, manage staff performance, hire and train employees, and drive exceptional customer service and profitability for SBM across locations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant field.
  • 2 years of related experience and knowledge of the industry.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required.
  • Strong understanding of asset management principles.
  • Ability to manage operatives and sub-contractors.
  • Knowledge about maintenance techniques.
  • Expertise with various computer programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of multiple sites.
  • Develop operating budgets and control expenses within budgets.
  • Create a safe, positive and achievement‑oriented work environment.
  • Respond to customer questions and concerns promptly.
  • Monitor work, identify problems, and implement solutions.
  • Implement production plans per schedule.
  • Update policies to meet site goals.
  • Review and approve plans of correction when needed.
  • Interview and hire new employees.
  • Train employees to ensure smooth site operation.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to staff.
  • Maintain attendance records and leave reports.
  • Distribute uniforms to employees.
  • Ensure team members follow SBM policies and procedures.
  • Foster operational excellence through training, coaching, and discipline.
  • Develop location and individual performance evaluation processes.
  • Set disciplinary and behavioral standards to maximize efficiency.

Title: Area Supervisor

Compensation: $75,000-$80,000 per year

This role will require travel, and will require the candidate be Bilingual in Spanish.

Job Overview

The Area Supervisor will be responsible for adhering to procedures, quality, maintenance, safety, and schedules on assigned shifts. The individual will promote effective employee and company relations to help improve customer service and company profits.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Supervise the daily operations of multiple sites.
  • Develop operating budgets and control expenses within those budgets.
  • Develop safe, positive and achievement oriented working environment.
  • Respond to the customer’s questions and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Monitor ongoing work, identify problems, and find solutions.
  • Implement production plans in accordance with approved schedule.
  • Implement new policies and procedures to meet site goals.
  • Reviewing the plans of correction and approving them when necessary.
  • Interview and hire new employees.
  • Trains employees in their job duties to insure site’s smooth operation.
  • Plans, assigns, and directs work to employees.
  • Maintain employee attendance records and leave reports.
  • Perform Uniform distribution for employees.
  • Ensures each team members work in conformance with SBM policies and procedures.
  • Ensure operational excellence through training, coaching, disciplining, and encouragement of team members.
  • Develop processes for locations and individual performance evaluation.
  • Develop disciplinary and behavioral standards for the employees to maximize work efficiency.
Qualification

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Education and/ or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or relevant field.
  • 2 years of related experience and the knowledge of the industry.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of asset management principal.
  • Ability to manage operatives and sub-contractors.
  • Knowledge about the maintenance techniques.
  • Expert in various computer programs.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
