Role Overview:

The Area Supervisor is part of the Store Leadership team, responsible for a specific area of the store, overseeing operations, supervising associates, and managing store functions during their shift. Responsibilities include opening and closing the store, maintaining a friendly shopping environment, ensuring merchandise presentation, and executing operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining Safe & Secure Environments:

• Prioritize safety and practice safe behaviors.
• Maintain awareness to ensure a safe shopping environment, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Secure the store including entrances, exits, and security systems.
• Ensure emergency procedures are followed and fire alarms are tested.

Customer Service:

• Treat all customers and team members with respect and professionalism.

Brand Representation & Store Maintenance:

• Maintain a professional appearance and ensure store cleanliness and merchandising standards.

Merchandising & Stock Management:

• Ensure proper recovery, sizing, markdowns, and merchandise processing.

Loss Prevention & Front End Operations:

• Adhere to loss prevention protocols and maximize productivity at the front end.

Fitting Rooms & Administrative Duties:

• Maintain fitting rooms and assist with administrative tasks like cash handling and payroll.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills, fluency in English.
• Previous customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lbs, and use store equipment as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervises retail associates and stockroom leads.
