Kleen-Tech Services, LLC is seeking an energetic Area Supervisor to oversee janitorial operations across multiple client locations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can manage staffing, quality, and compliance while driving service excellence.

You will liaise between customers, frontline teams, and operations leadership, ensuring safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across accounts. Strong leadership and coordination skills are essential.

Kleen-Tech Services is seeking an energetic, hands-on Area Supervisor to oversee janitorial operations across multiple client locations. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing teams, and is committed to delivering exceptional service to both employees and customers.

As an Area Supervisor, you will serve as the primary link between our customers, frontline teams, and operations leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring successful staffing, quality performance, labor compliance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence across your assigned accounts. This position requires flexibility, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. What You'll Do

Operations Management

• Oversee daily janitorial operations across multiple facilities.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure service standards are consistently met.
• Manage labor hours, staffing levels, scheduling, and overtime compliance.
• Maintain supply inventory and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor contract compliance and operational performance metrics.
• Create, assign, and follow up on work orders through completion.
• Review labor reports, staffing rosters, and employee schedules.
• Submit mileage and expense reports accurately and timely.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop custodial teams, leads, and foremen.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and retain employees.
• Conduct performance discussions, corrective actions, and employee coaching.
• Collaborate with HR on employee relations, injuries, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Customer & Account Management

• Serve as the primary liaison between Kleen-Tech and client locations.
• Build strong customer relationships and promptly address service concerns.
• Coordinate staffing coverage to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Support contract modifications and identify opportunities for service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and reporting obligations.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass company MVR requirements
• Ability to travel between multiple work locations
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
• Flexible availability (typical schedule varies between 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday-Friday. Weekend availability)
• 2-5 years of supervisory or management experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience managing employee performance and accountability
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and mobile technology
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial, facility services, environmental services, or building maintenance operations
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Knowledge of labor management, budgeting, supply ordering, and quality control processes
• Experience working with customer-facing service contracts
