You will supervise traffic control personnel, conduct safety checks, and coordinate with planning for timely job completion while fostering team development and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Team player with ability to lead by example.
• Strong communication skills for field coordination.
• Minimum 1 year of traffic control and flagging experience.
• Proficient with Windows apps including Outlook and Excel.
• Willingness to train crew and improve safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage traffic control personnel in designated areas, including performance evaluations.
• Assist with training crew for advancement.
• Perform weekly work zone safety checks and audits.
• Ensure time sheets from crew leads are accurate and submitted on time.
• Communicate daily with planning and scheduling about job requirements.
• Create leaders from the field.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will supervise field crew to ensure company safety policies and work zone standards are being followed.

Responsibilities

• Manage traffic control personnel in designated areas to include performance evaluations and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with training crew members and prepping them for advancement.
• Perform work zone safety checks and audits at least once per week.
• Ensure time sheets from crew leads are accurate, complete, and turned in on time.
• Communicate daily with planning and scheduling team regarding any issues in fulfilling job requirements.
• Create leaders from the field
