Job description

Job Description:

• Coordinate personnel to achieve the desired production schedule.
• Work closely with peer training specialists to ensure compliance with cGMPs prior to assigning personnel to areas.
• Act as the line SME with in‑depth knowledge of area SOPs to guide personnel throughout the production day.
• Analyze present and proposed manufacturing processes and technologies to determine improvements to processes, equipment, and automation to optimize manufacturing processes, meet present and new regulations, reduce waste, increase capacity, and develop and implement methods to increase output while complying with cGMP's.
• Provide effective day‑to‑day leadership and oversight for small groups ranging in size from 5 to 25 team members.
• Schedule team members proficiently to achieve target turnaround times and meet production schedule targets.
• Act as area SME for SOP updates and proposed equipment/process changes.
• Partner with training peers to drive training of team members.
• Spend 50% of production day in the manufacturing areas driving the teams and building rapport.
• Coordinate required activities with other departments to ensure completion of production schedules.
• Participate in RCAs, CAPAs, Change Controls, and other process improvements.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor degree desired.
• Lean principle certifications (6 Sigma or otherwise) desired.
• OSHA 10 certification desired.
• 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Leadership experience desired.
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience desired.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
• SAP experience required.
• Trackwise and MasterControl experience required.
• Respirator Clearance Required.

Area Specialist II (In addition to the above):

• 2 years in role or equivalent experience.

Sr. Area Specialist (In addition to the above):

• 5 years in role or equivalent experience.

Shift:

Weekend Nights, Friday - Sunday, E/O Thursday, 6pm-6am.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Area Specialist I: $38/hr. depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role.
• Area Specialist II: $41/hr. depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role.
• Sr. Area Specialist: $44/hr. depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role.
• Shift differential pay is available for this position, and is determined by hours worked on selected shift.
• Weekday Day Shift 12HRS - 2.50%.
• Weekday Night Shift 12HRS - 10%.
• Weekend Day Shift 12HRS - 12%.
• Weekend Night Shift 12HRS - 15%.
