Job summary

Stanley Martin Homes is seeking an Area Service Manager to lead warranty inspections and on-site quality walks across our communities. You will guide trade partners, manage warranty-related tasks, and ensure timely, high-quality completions while upholding our standards.

The ASM will coordinate with vendors and internal teams to deliver exceptional homebuyer experiences and maintain our reputation as a top homebuilder.

Responsibilities

• Manage warranty requests and lead quality improvement for assigned communities.
• Serve as on-site leader, conducting quality walks and warranty inspections.
• Ensure warrantable work is completed, including emergency requests.
• Manage vendor payments and ensure timely completion by trade partners.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to uphold Stanley Martin's quality standards.

A day in the life of an Area Service Manager (ASM): Life as an ASM is dynamic and exciting. Your job is to manage warranty requests, leading the quality improvement process for your assigned communities. You will be the on-site leader, responsible for conducting quality walk and warranty inspections, ensuring the completion of all warrantable related work including emergency requests, managing vendor payments and other tasks as required. Most of your day will consist of ensuring trade partners fulfil the timely completion of all scheduled tasks in a manner that is aligned with our quality standards.

What is Stanley Martin looking for in an ASM? The ideal ASM candidate is highly organized, possesses a positive attitude, is detail-oriented and can remain cool under pressure. Being able to communicate clearly and build strong relationships with homebuyers, trade partners and internal groups is imperative to the success of this role.
