Job summary

Sundance Beverage Company is seeking an energetic sales representative to call on grocery and convenience accounts in the Chicago area. You will implement sales calls, merchandize shelves and displays, rotate stock, remove damaged items, and present promotions to expand distribution.

You will maintain National Beverage merchandising standards, prospect for new accounts, participate in sales meetings, and submit reports on time while coordinating with management and drivers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Current automobile insurance including liability coverage.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Call on all customers according to assigned day and frequency.
• Fill and merchandise all shelves and displays.
• Rotate stock and remove out-of-code or damaged products from selling area.
• Update point-of-sale materials and present new items.
• Sell in special promotions and expand shelf space and product distribution.
• Maintain National Beverage merchandising standards and organize products.
• Regularly prospect for new accounts.
• Participate in sales meetings and share ideas.
• Complete all report requests on a timely basis.
• Maintain accurate customer sales diaries daily.
• Communicate effectively with management and drivers to maximize sales opportunities.

• Conduct all sales calls implementing the following steps and service:
  • a. Fill and merchandise all shelves and displays.
  • b. Rotate stock.
  • c. Remove out-of-code and/or damaged product from selling area.
  • d. Update point-of-sale material.
  • e. Present new items.
  • f. Sell in special promotions.
  • g. Continuously strive to expand shelf space and product distribution.
• Maintain National Beverage merchandising standards.
  • a. All products organized together.
  • b. Glide trays kept clean and identified.
  • c. National Beverage products displayed in best possible position.
• Regularly prospect for new accounts.
• Participate in sales meetings and share ideas.
• Complete all report requests on a timely basis.
• Maintain accurate customer sales diaries daily.
• Exercise proper care of all company supplied materials including uniforms, tablet, and cell telephone.
• Communicate effectively with management and drivers to maximize sales opportunities.
