Position Summary:
The South Florida Area Manager is responsible for achieving distribution and growth objectives for Patco Brands through effective key account management in the South Florida region. The position will manage key chain accounts and distributor relationships, execute strategic planner, depletion, and distribution programs while maintaining a strong presence in the accounts and marketplace.
Responsibilities:
●This role will focus on generating increased distribution and volume sales in key chains.
●Liaison between Wholesaler and buyer for key chain accounts. Specific accounts will be identified by the manager to drive strategic direction.
●Work directly with distributor managers to develop plans and strategy in key accounts.
●Coordinate program execution and tracking against annual goals, in partnership with the Wholesaler.
●Create and strategize effective, creative selling solutions to overcome objections in the Market.
●Analyze sales reports to evaluate brand trends and increase effectiveness in fact-based selling.
●Utilize available marketing materials to support, promotion/tie-in periods to maximize sales and increase brands share.
●Monitor merchandising and competitive sales trends and activities.
●Manager field implementation and execution of national and regional programs to ensure accurate product pricing and management of program deadlines.
●Conduct wholesaler team meetings to review and set goals for programming depending on channel of focus.
●Submit reports as required in a timely manner.
Responsible for the execution of Patco pricing strategies, by brand, and improving share of visibility for brands.
●Organizing sales blitz, surveys, and key account drives by territory, aligning with the wholesaler.
Requirements and Qualifications:
●The position requires basic knowledge and skills in the following areas: Selling Skills, Business Understanding, Category Management, Analysis, Planning and Execution, and Organizational Development.
●Selling Skills: must possess the basic knowledge and skills necessary to execute fact-based solution selling.
●Strong organizational and excellent interpersonal skills.
●Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining acute attention to detail.
●Skilled in relationship management
●Effective communication skills and a thorough understanding of process management and continuous improvement.
●Demonstrates approachability, composure, and customer focus. Demonstrates leadership skills to influence distributor and retailer actions.
●3+ years of distributor management experience.
●Bachelor's Degree.
●Must share company values: integrity, respect, value creation, compliance, customer focus.
●Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in an evolving environment with enthusiasm.
●Exceptional skills in Microsoft Windows, Office, Excel, and Google Docs.
● Annual salary range $80,000 - $110,000
