Area Sales Director – Cardiology (Southwestern U.S.)
Region: Southwestern United States (e.g., AZ, NM, NV, TX, UT, Southern CA)
I’m partnering with an exciting, rapidly growing Medical Device organization that is expanding its footprint across the Southwestern United States. We are searching for a high-performing Area Sales Director (Cardiology) to lead growth, deepen clinical partnerships, and make a significant impact in a high-potential region.
What You’ll Do
- Lead regional sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Manage and coach the team of sales reps, ensuring they are motivated, supported, and equipped to perform at their best.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with sales reps to track their progress and provide feedback.
- Set individual sales goals for each rep that align with the regional targets.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to help sale reps overcome challenges and develop professionally.
- Build and maintain relationships with cardiologists, EPs, interventional cardiology teams, and hospital decision-makers.
- Track performance metrics, competitive activity, and emerging market trends.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and National Accounts.
- Manage territory planning, forecasting, and reporting with precision.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
- A proven track record of success with a minimum of 5 years Sales experience within the Remote Cardiac Monitoring industry.
- Proven record of driving growth in complex or competitive territories.
- Strong clinical acumen and confidence working with specialists.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the Southwestern U.S.
