Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in the electrical field.
• Experience with power distribution systems up to 600 volts.
• Knowledge of AC/DC motors, motor controls, VFDs, and related components.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; fault isolation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
• Respond to trouble tickets at a park or attraction.
• Perform startup and shutdown procedures requiring sequencing of equipment.
• Maintain or set up a variable frequency drive (VFD) and related controls.
• Troubleshoot and repair ride-control systems and electrical equipment.
