Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. seeks an Area Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations in Klingerstown, PA across multiple shifts, ensuring safety, food safety, and quality while meeting plant objectives. You will supervise up to 80 employees and drive daily execution aligned with KPI targets.

You will coach teams, advance continuous improvement using Lean tools and SRMP, and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Safety, and Engineering to sustain gains and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or five or more years of equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
• Minimum five years in a manufacturing environment with supervision of 25+ employees.
• Experience leading or supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives and lean tools.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise manufacturing activities across multiple shifts, up to 80 employees.
• Lead safety and food safety compliance as a core value.
• Drive continuous improvement via RedZone, KPI reviews, and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality/FSQ, Safety, and Engineering for improvements.
