Job summary

Boardwalk Pipelines, LP seeks an Area Supervisor/Area Manager for the Bedford, IN offices. This role leads the compression, pipeline, corrosion and measurement teams, ensuring safe, compliant O&M activities per DOT 192, EPA/DEQ and OSHA requirements.

The successful candidate will coordinate with Operations Support, Engineering, Construction and other leaders to optimize facility performance and maintain strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years’ experience in natural gas compression and storage
• Three to five years’ experience in a supervisor position in natural gas or equivalent
• Familiar with DOT 192 regulations and natural gas pipeline operations
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and strong computer skills
• Ability to read and implement O&M manuals, drawings, alignment sheets and valve maps

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and reliable operation of compressor, pipeline, corrosion and measurement facilities.
• Manage local control room and shift personnel as applicable.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction and area Leaders to ensure efficient facility performance.
• Develop/train employees and oversee safety programs.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate shut-downs with Gas Control.
