Job summary

Martinez Steel LLC in Fontana, CA is seeking an Area Operations Manager for Southern California to oversee daily operations at the Fontana fabrication facility and field installation activities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations at Fontana fabrication facility, including production scheduling, field crew coordination, logistics, and equipment management.

• Monitor Southern California KPIs: production, on-time delivery, cost, safety; implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate workflow between Fontana plant, detailing dept, PMs, field Superintendents, and Foremen.
• Manage equipment scheduling, trucking coordination, and material staging for Southern California projects.
• Ensure compliance with Cal/OSHA, California Labor Code, prevailing wage, and safety policies.
• Support Director of Operations in budget management, cost control, and regional reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee day-to-day operations at and from the Fontana, CA fabrication facility including production scheduling, field crew coordination, logistics, and equipment management.
  
• Implement and enforce company operational policies, standard operating procedures, and production standards.
  
• Monitor Southern California operational KPIs including production volume, on-time delivery, cost performance, and safety metrics; develop and execute corrective actions when targets are not met.

Requirements
