This position will have operational oversight of the following states: North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. The ideal candidate must reside in one of these states.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations across the assigned region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and service standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support sonographers, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
- Field Support: Perform ultrasound exams at least two (2) days per week to maintain clinical skills and support team integration.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including exam volumes, quality metrics, and patient satisfaction.
- Resource Management: Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and coverage.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clinical, administrative, and executive teams to support strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs and support professional development of team members.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required Certification: Current ARDMS or equivalent ultrasound certification required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical ultrasound experience.
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare or imaging services environment.
- Proven experience managing multi-site operations is strongly preferred.
- Technical & Clinical Skills:
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of ultrasound exams.
- Strong understanding of clinical protocols, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with ultrasound equipment, PACS, and EMR systems.
- Leadership & Operational Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple locations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
- Experience in workforce planning, performance management, and staff development.
- Analytical & Communication Skills:
- Ability to analyze operational data and implement process improvements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region.
- Commitment to spending two days per week performing clinical scanning in the field.
- Valid driver's license.
