Job summary

PCC Fasteners in Irvine, CA is seeking an Area Manager to lead a manufacturing area with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. You will set direction, develop capacity plans, and drive Lean improvements across value streams.

You will manage production teams, ensure safe operations, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with EHS, Maintenance, Quality and Manufacturing Engineers to optimize performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or related manufacturing experience.
• Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work >40 hours and weekends as required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and influence all elements of the area to maximize productivity and on-time delivery.
• Drive Lean improvements and value-stream mapping across multiple lines.
• Ensure a safe work environment and enforce 6S and quality standards.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to meet safety, quality, and cost targets.
• Develop capacity and staffing plans to meet short- and long-term needs.
