Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar group, seeks a regional Job Management consultant to drive process improvements, reporting, and data-driven insights across operations. You will partner with area leadership to optimize job closures, forecast needs, and analyze financials.

You will support warehouse and branch activity, coordinate ERP-related tasks, and translate complex data into concise executive summaries for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset tracking and inventory health monitoring.
• Background overseeing local warehouse processes and safety compliance.
• Experience supporting order management and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the region's internal consultant for Job Management and improve issue turnaround.
• Support Regional Operations Manager on projects with defined scope and timelines.
• Own PLS reporting and reduce aging inventory while improving job closures.
• Analyze dashboards for sales, margins, gross profit, and overrides.
• Deliver actionable, executive-ready summaries to leadership.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analyses.
• Coordinate asset tracking with Warehouse and Logistics Managers.
• Support vendor program analysis and compliance reporting.
• Align sales operations with regional and company objectives.
• Assist branch opening/closing with Branch Manager and maintain ERP continuity.

This role supports regional operations through job management consulting, project execution, reporting ownership, and operational analysis to improve business performance and process efficiency.

What Will You Do:

• Serve as the region's internal consultant for Job Management, improving issue turnaround time and increasing first-contact resolution.
• Support the Regional Operations Manager on special projects by delivering defined scope, timeline, and measurable outcomes.
• Own PLS reporting and partner with Project Managers to close open tickets, reduce aging inventory over one year, and improve job closure rates.
• Analyze dashboards and scorecards for sales, margin percentage, gross profit dollars, and overrides.
• Deliver clear, actionable insights to Area Sales Leaders and Regional Vice Presidents.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Translate complex data into concise, executive-ready summaries.
• Coordinate asset tracking with the Warehouse Manager and Logistics Manager.
• Support vendor program analysis, rebate visibility, and compliance reporting.
• Align sales operations and enablement initiatives with regional and company objectives.
• Support branch opening and closing processes in collaboration with the Branch Manager.
• Provide ERP system support to maintain operational accuracy and process continuity.
• Responsible for the following reports: Inventory adjustment, open order, freight audir, freight recovery, unbilled AP, Negative Inventory, Transfers shiped/not received, disputed transfers, cash box/credit card, open deposits, and credit returns analysis.

What Will You Bring:

• Experience in managing local property and building operations.
• Ability to maintain asset tracking.
• Trained in monitoring inventory health and related processes.
• Experience in overseeing local warehouse processes, including safety compliance.
• Previous experience supporting order management processes.
