Job summary

The Director for Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Maine will drive ministry growth through prayer, staffing, and funding across the Advancement lanes: Ministry, Board, Donor, Talent and International. Collaborating with the Regional Vice President, staff and boards, they will craft and execute a comprehensive ministry plan, discipling coaches and athletes to multiply disciples in FCA environments.

Agree with FCA's Christian Community Statement.
Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study.
Provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer and study.
Be connected to a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
Conduct yourself in line with biblical standards of conduct per FCA policies.
Engage, equip and empower coaches, athletes and volunteers through 1-on-1s, Huddles and events.
Recruit, hire, train and develop effective and diverse staff.
Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding for ministry opportunities.
Develop staff to lead self, others, teams and organization spiritually and professionally.
Ensure recruitment and development of volunteers aligns with ministry growth in Sports Environments.
Invite and invest in leadership boards, and encourage advisory teams.
Fundraise and manage finances, training staff to grow Home Teams, major donors and events.
Mobilize staff and volunteers to pray, give, and go for International Region.
