Job Overview

We are a remote-first, collaborative team dedicated to innovative solutions in healthcare. This position involves processing medical record requests, safeguarding patient privacy, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and company policies. The role requires travel of 75% or more and at least 1 year of related HIM experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle patient health information requests in line with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
  • Manage patient records, including assembling and digitizing documents.
  • Respond to internal and external record requests appropriately.
  • Assist with administrative duties, training, and report generation.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED, 18+ years old.
  • 1+ years of health information experience.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 75% or more.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.
  • Strong communication, organization, and data entry skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in production or customer service roles.
  • Ability to build relationships and contribute ideas for process improvement.
Additional Information
