Amazon is hiring an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates within one of its fulfillment centers, sort centers, or delivery stations. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes coaching, safety, and performance to meet goals.

Training is provided to become a strong people leader, ensuring teams have tools to succeed. Candidates must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree by Aug 2026 and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Enrolled in or graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently and operate in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Willing and able to regularly work shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on business needs.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment (where applicable) and step in as needed.
