Position Overview

This role involves supervising and directing the daily operations of multiple ready-mix sites in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. The responsibilities include overseeing driver/distribution activities, production, maintenance, budgeting, and staffing. It offers a unique leadership opportunity in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Hours

Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000

Hours per week: 40+

Responsibilities
  1. Promote and ensure safety policies are followed and safety is prioritized in all activities.
  2. Assess risks, ensure proper use of PPE, and mentor staff on safety practices.
  3. Ensure compliance with company policies and hold employees accountable.
  4. Train and monitor contractor safety activities on site.
  5. Supervise site employees and oversee driver performance to meet KPIs.
  6. Prepare reports on production, safety, inventory, and other metrics for decision-making.
  7. Investigate safety incidents thoroughly and report according to protocols.
  8. Address production issues, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.
  9. Maintain inventory levels to meet production and customer demands.
  10. Implement process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and morale.
  11. Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping at all sites.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or 10 years of relevant experience in construction materials operations.
  • Supervisory experience in operations, with knowledge of safety, quality control, and maintenance.
Preferred Requirements
  • Construction Management or Business studies preferred.
