Job summary

Wilsonart seeks an Area Manager – Production to lead manufacturing operations across the facility, including Casting and Fabrication. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost while leading supervisors and frontline teams toward continuous improvement and operational excellence.

As a key member of the Operations Leadership Team, you will manage budgets, coach through change, and partner with EHS to ensure OSHA and ISO compliance, fostering a data-driven culture focused on performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• 10+ years manufacturing experience.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead all production departments to achieve plant and business unit goals.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and equipment reliability metrics.
• Oversee daily operations using KPIs and visual management systems.
• Coordinate priorities and resources across departments for plant-wide performance.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and 80/20 principles.
• Develop SOPs and operational standards with technical teams.
