This is a full time salaried role overseeing the brand locations in the Pacific Northwest with the wage range of $70,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

This is a remote role with field-based regular travel required to stores within the Region .

AREA MANAGER

As an Area Manager, you are working with store teams to develop their commercial acumen to execute our sales strategies to the highest standard. This is a juicy, challenging and rewarding role that sees you building our future leaders as you drive the success of our stores. You will possess a positive "above the line" attitude and the ability to motivate and inspire others. Excellent time management skills along with strategic thinking and problem-solving skills are a must.

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in retail management, preferably within the apparel retail industry.

  • Key accountabilities include delivering exceptional customer service, collaborating with VM teams to align on business performance and execute brand direction, and ensuring operational excellence across all store locations.

  • Pacific Northwest: The Area Manager will oversee the Pacific Northwest markets, including Alderwood, Spokane, River Crossing, Body Washington Square, & Washington Square Adults location.

  • Lead and embed the COG Way and build a team of Store Managers that are engaged Brand and product ambassadors

  • Understand my team and their individual motivators and development needs to drive wellness, engagement and performance to enable succession

  • Build and drive a performing team who are customer obsessed, people focused and results driven in every one of my stores

  • Work alongside VM Partners to review business performance and align on actions

  • Work together with my VM partners to execute to the Brand direction

  • Work together with Merch team to provide customer and store insights to drive results

  • Drive performance across all people and customer initiatives to drive financial outcomes, with a focus on continuous improvement and ensuring consistency across my stores

  • Provide insights to Manager on everything that team needs to deliver a seamless customer experience in region

  • Drive productivity and unlock efficiencies in operating rhythm

  • Have a working plan with clear success measures for People, Customer and Financials, for each of store

  • Own and drive team’s HPA’s to focus on what matters most and to deliver in roles

  • Inspect stock health and drive compliant loss prevention and inventory management

  • Set expectations , review performance, provide feedback and follow up using the group performance Framework

  • Look after others and lead in alignment with our Safety Matters Framework

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to move around the store throughout the shift/workday

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly (e.g., boxes or other merchandise packages, bins, clothing racks, stools/ladders)

  • Ability to regularly squat/kneel (e.g., to access under-storage bins, during visual resets)

  • Ability to regularly use a ladder, step stool or raised platform safely to complete required tasks
