Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager in Obetz, OH to lead a team of hourly associates across shift operations. You will engage your team to maintain safety, quality, attendance, and performance while meeting customer delivery expectations.

You will collaborate with safety, engineering, loss prevention, QA and HR to drive plans, coach performance, and improve processes. The role requires a flexible schedule, with some weekends and nights possibly involved.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours.
