Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Huntley, IL is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees across the fulfillment network. You will drive safety, quality, productivity and on-time delivery while engaging your team during shifts and ensuring excellent customer service.

You will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, HR and Quality teams to implement plans, monitor performance, and continuously improve processes in a dynamic, multi-site environment.

• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and HR to meet objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours
• Work in variable temperatures and weather; stairs handling where applicable
