Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent and eight+ years related experience.
• Knowledge of construction operations, policies, procedures and standards.
• Experience with craft employee relations, union/open shop and related laws.
• Understanding of water resources and related engineering practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans for the area and business unit.
• Prepare and communicate accurate financial forecasts, budgets and projections.
• Model and reinforce Granite’s Core Values and Code of Conduct; promote safety with zero tolerance for non-compliance.
• Ensure safety programs are implemented and safety standards are met.
• Develop and mentor Area employees, providing training and leadership development opportunities.
• Lead bid reviews for large or complex bids to ensure accuracy and risk assessment.
• Manage area water well drilling operations in line with financial expectations and company policies.
• Build strategic relationships with customers, vendors and subcontractors to strengthen market position.
