Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly employees, fostering safety, quality, attendance, and performance while meeting customer delivery expectations. You will engage and mentor your team during shifts and collaborate with Safety, HR, and Loss Prevention to plan for business objectives.

The role requires 1+ year of management experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (or 2+ years Amazon experience).

Qualifications

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Willing to work weekends/nights/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long shifts with stairs.
• Adapt to variable environments including outdoor loading and refrigerated areas.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends and overnight shifts.
