Job summary

Amazon Mount Joy is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff and drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will engage shifts, coach performance, and collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention and HR to meet business objectives.

The role requires flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays, with lifting up to 49 pounds and standing up to 12 hours per shift. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud.
