Job summary

OnTrac Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Area Manager for our Carlstadt facility. You will oversee sort activities, drive improvements, and lead a team in a fast-paced, safety‑conscious environment.

Starting pay ranges from $66,300 to $78,200, with potential to reach $93,840 over time, depending on experience and internal equity. The role requires leadership and data‑driven decision making. Qualifications

• GED or Diploma required.
• BA/BS college degree in related discipline preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of industry experience with at least 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience.
• Ability to effectively evaluate and summarize data and present answers to questions.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, staff and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers in an assigned area in the facility to ensure quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
• Monitor employee progress, provide ongoing feedback, identify areas for improvement, and address performance/attendance.
• Conduct pre-sort meetings, keeping employees informed of daily goals, upcoming events, and safety priorities. Maintain an open line of communication to engage employees.
• Record and manage the departures/arrivals of and the flow of volume from designated Linehauls.
• Execute various administrative duties, including safety training, operational audits, and end of shift reporting.
