Area Manager – Clean Express Auto Wash

Location: 2474 W Hill Rd, Flint, Michigan, 48507

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support Site Managers to achieve sales targets, operational goals and customer experience standards.
• Conduct periodic team performance and knowledge reviews and partner with recruiting to identify hiring needs.
• Oversee onboarding, training and development of site management teams to build a strong talent pipeline.
• Participate in succession planning to ensure readiness for growth.
• Coach employees on effective sales techniques at sales booths and in vacuum lots.
• Conduct regular visits to assigned sites to monitor performance, ensure compliance and maintain brand presentation standards.
• Analyze sales reports, KPIs and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Conduct inventory and cash audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide operational coverage by working shifts as needed and perform certifications for wash employees to ensure knowledge meets company standards.
• Review and approve site schedules and ensure payroll accuracy.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all equipment, including operational functions and each step of the wash process.
• Implement promotional and marketing initiatives consistently across all assigned sites.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 3‑5 years multi‑unit retail management experience, preferably in a high‑volume environment.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and improving operational performance.

Physical Requirements

• Periodic sitting in a vehicle.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
• Ability to bend, twist and kneel.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to travel within assigned territory and work flexible hours as needed.
