As Area Manager, you will lead the operational activities and manage the activities of the Dialysis Centers in Slovakia , ensuring a productive workforce and collaborating with senior staff on strategic planning. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Direction:
- Communicate local action plans aligned with the broader organizational mission.
- Motivate and guide the team and Head of Dialysis Centers to achieve business goals
- Ability to manage the structure of departments
Performance and Operations Management:
- Set performance objectives , monitor progress, and take corrective actions to ensure targets are met.
- Oversee clinic operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and adherence to operational measures.
- Planning and maintaining staffing levels that consider budget and quality parameters.
Collaboration :
- Work closely with international and local commercial operations leaders , care delivery functions, and various G&A departments such as Medical, Legal, Compliance, and HR.
- Engage with external service providers, suppliers, local authorities , and government representatives.
- Building and maintaining long-term business relationships with service providers, hospitals, provincial branches
Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to and implement strategic planning systems.
- Drive operational improvements and excellence measures.
Budgeting :
- Develop and manage budgets, audit outputs, and analyze data for informed decision-making.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Lead quality assurance efforts and evaluate risks.
Capability Building:
- Identify development needs, build team capabilities, and provide coaching to enhance performance.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in General Management, Finance, Clinical Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading teams and managing resources in a healthcare environment.
- Fluent in both English and Slovak.
- Proven ability to take ownership and operate independently, with minimal guidance—comfortable making decisions and taking action in the field.
- High resilience and stamina—able to work under pressure, travel extensively, and maintain focus in a demanding environment.
- Comfortable with long hours and fluctuating schedules, with the flexibility to adapt to operational priorities.
- Strong goal orientation and ambition, with a clear drive to deliver results and make an impact.
- Track record of managing and coordinating third-party vendors and partners effectively.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and structured planning skills.
- Skilled in engaging stakeholders at all levels—clear communicator, confident presenter, and relationship builder.
- Solid experience in recruitment and team building.
- Strong project management skills and sound financial judgment.
- Commercially aware, pragmatic, and proactive in identifying and solving problems.
- High proficiency in IT systems, including MS Office, CRM tools, and SAP.
