Job summary

Amrize is seeking an Area Manager to drive growth in the US market, focusing on decking, waterproofing and flooring solutions for commercial projects. You will build relationships with contractors, dealers and building owners, manage a growing customer base, and pursue new opportunities with value-added, solution-based selling.

This role offers independence, frequent travel (75%), on-site training events and representation at trade shows.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or related field or minimum of 5 years of decking, waterproofing & flooring material
• Strong track record in building business and increasing sales
• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus
• Ability to present information and connect with a variety of customers and industry professionals
• Effective time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong technical skills, including MS Office
• Highly motivated with a demonstrable successful sales record
• Must be able to travel 75% of the time
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing sales process, develop relationships, respond to, and anticipate customer needs, providing customer service; ability to close sales.
• Generate and follow up on new customer leads.
• Document all leads and follow up contact.
• Develop and execute a smart, well-thought-out business and marketing plans for territory.
• Meet or exceed annual sales and gross profit targets.
• Establish marketing needs effectively and creatively use presentations and other sales tools.
• Available to travel frequently and represent the company in a professional manner.
• Perform professional on-site training events.
• Represent Gaco at local and regional trade shows.
• Manage the territory sales budget.
• Serve as subject matter expert, expanding product knowledge and developing knowledge of competitive products and features.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
• Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a confident, motivated sales professional to join our team as an DWP AreaManager. In this dynamic role, you’ll have the independence to drive growth and make animpact by expanding fluid-applied coating sales within the commercial decking, waterproofingand flooring market. You’ll leverage your expertise to build relationships, manage a thrivingcustomer base, and proactively secure new opportunities. By using value-added, solution-basedselling, you’ll collaborate with contractors, dealers, and building owners to deliver exceptionalresults and help achieve Region and Division sales goals.

• Additional Requirements: Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
