Job summary

LIVunLtd is seeking an Area Manager with a specialization in Concierge Services to oversee operations across multiple properties within New York. The AM will collaborate with the VP of Operations and onsite staff to ensure premium client experiences and alignment with LIVunLtd standards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of qualitative and quantitative judgment and decision making.
• Strong business acumen with oversight of multiple locations.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
• Experience in hiring, coaching and training teams to deliver luxury service.
• Experience fulfilling concierge requests, such as dining reservations and tickets.
• Must be able to walk between locations and lift up to 25 pounds; Lifeguard certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Train, develop and support on-site staff members to establish their adherence to LIVunLtd policies, procedures and high standards.
• Anticipate client expectations, seasonal changes within the business approach, staffing needs/changes and make appropriate strategic adjustments accordingly.
• Conduct periodic (weekly) site inspections of all managed areas in order to maintain showroom ready conditions, safety, risk management, customer service (client, resident, guest, member) and LIVunLtd standards.
• Provide seamless communication, implementation and execution of directives as communicated from the Executive team, department leaders and VPs of Operations.
• Recommend and implement operational improvements as needed.
• Ensure that each location within your assigned accounts is reflective of LIVunLtd’s core values, commitments, philosophy and policies.
• Host team meetings and one-on-ones coaching sessions with onsite managers within your portfolio.
• Attend meetings and maintain /cultivate relationships with all relevant on-site parties.
• Provide operations leadership to management to inspire and enable them to deliver a premium customer experience directly reflective of LIVunLtd’s high level of standards.
• Create and ensure a safety first culture that is apparent in every operation daily.
• Maintain and oversee full responsibility for the performance of operational budgets and scope of work within the contractual agreement.
• Provide performance reports/updates to VP of Operations.
• Ensure all operation procedures and first rate practices are being demonstrated at every location.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as an Area Manager with a specialization in Concierge Services. As an Area Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing concierge operations within a designated area. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in concierge services, demonstrating a strong understanding of customer service, hospitality, and operational excellence.

As the Area Manager (AM) you are directly responsible for the comprehensive oversight of all property/location/building management operations within their assigned accounts. This includes ongoing collaboration with the respective VP of Operation and all relevant staff employed at the assigned locations/accounts. The AM must ensure seamless communication between the corporate office initiatives and field operations. The AM is responsible for the close interface with resident managers, property managers, LIVunLtd Managers and all other pertinent liaisons in the properties that LIVunLtd provides services in. Additionally, the Area Manager will be given area support assignments specific to the immediate operational needs of all accounts beyond those within his/her primary assignment.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong business acumen including the ability to oversee multiple locations. Preference for those locations servicing concierge requests.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
• Experience in hiring, coaching and training teams to create an exceptional luxury brand experience.
• Experience in fulfilling concierge requests such as securing dining reservations, tickets to shows, transportation, etc.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking around. Must be able to commute and walk to multiple locations in one day.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Must be able and willing to get Lifeguard Certified.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Appreciation for fitness and healthy living.

COMPENSATION

The Area Manager position with LIVunLtd has a starting salary of $70,000 - $80,000 per annum. The range above is a good faith estimate based on the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the actual salary may vary from the estimates provided above.
