Job summary

ACT Power Services in Massachusetts is seeking a Regional Manager to lead day-to-day onsite operations of utility-scale solar PV plants within a designated region. You will supervise a team of O&M field technicians and coordinate safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance to maximize uptime.

Responsibilities include coordinating dispatch with the Remote Operations Center and Engineering teams, planning daily work, performing site visits, and overseeing subcontractors while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or civil engineering preferred.
• Master Electrical license preferred.
• OSHA 30 General Industry certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uphold a high level of safety standards in everything that you do.
• Work with Remote Operations Center and Engineering Teams to coordinate dispatch and real-time repairs.
• Manage a team of technicians and coordinate daily planning of work and technical assistance.
• Perform occasional field site visits to solar facilities in region to assist technicians with routine maintenance, inspections, testing, equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and overseeing Subcontractors performing work.
• Maintain a schedule for routine maintenance and corrective repairs.
• Maintaining and ordering of company property such as vehicle, tools, PPE and safety equipment, and spare parts stock.
• Complete and audit work orders for the assigned region daily.
• Provide maintenance and troubleshooting training to technicians and others as needed.

Job description

The Regional Manager ensures the safe, productive, day-to-day onsite operations of utility-scale solar PV plants in a designated region. The manager is responsible for a team of local O&M field service technicians, ensuring the highest levels of performance, reliability, and compliance with all safety and environmental standards to ensure peak productivity.

What You’ll Do:

Maintain service reports, inspection documentation, safety paperwork, and spare parts inventory.
• Maintain a schedule for routine maintenance and corrective repairs

• Complete and audit work orders for the assigned region daily.
• Provide maintenance and troubleshooting training to technicians and others as needed.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience in PV maintenance, substation operations, or electrical installation and repair experience preferred.
• Master Electrical license required
• OSHA 30 General Industry certificatepreferred
• Experience operating under OSHA 1910, NFPA 70E, and 70B
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or civil engineering preferred.
