Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive Company is seeking an Area Leader in Operations in Hodges, SC to champion end-to-end production performance across critical manufacturing areas. You will coach frontline supervisors, drive safety, quality, and cost efficiency, and partner with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver continuous improvement.

The role requires leading high-performing teams, applying Lean/Six Sigma concepts, and ensuring regulatory compliance within a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years manufacturing experience, or Master’s with 5+ years.
• Supervisory experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and chemical plant equipment.
• Experience with ERP (SAP) and WMS systems.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop frontline teams and foster inclusivity.
• Drive continuous improvement and reliability programs across production areas to optimize asset utilization, boost OEE, and eliminate waste.
• Champion safety and environmental standards: ensure compliance with EH&S regulations and promote a zero-incident culture.
• Ensure GMP compliance and address non-conformances with root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Manage area budgets, labor efficiency, and material utilization to deliver cost savings.
• Deliver technology transfers and product launches with cross-functional partners in Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
