Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. is seeking an Area Leader Trainee - Retail Sales to oversee 12-14 store locations, drive exceptional customer service, and develop store leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

You will participate in a comprehensive 12-month training program, gain hands-on experience in merchandising, cash and inventory control, budgeting, and P&L management, with clear paths for career growth within multi-unit operations.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in a related field or 5+ years of experience managing district or regional operations for retail, or a large single store with 100+ employees.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced multi-unit environment.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence with active auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 12-14 store locations as Area Leader Trainee.
• Lead staffing, training, and supervision of Store Leaders.
• Execute merchandising programs, control cash and inventory, and promote excellent customer service.
• Focus on profit and loss management including budget planning, maximizing sales, and controlling expenses.
• Set performance goals and monitor results with upper management.

What you bring:

• Staffing, training, and supervising Store Leaders
• Implementing merchandising programs, controlling cash and inventory, motivating and teambuilding, and promoting excellent customer service
• A focus on profit and loss management including budget planning, maximizing sales, and controlling expenses.
• Setting performance goals and objectives while monitoring results with upper management
• A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in a related field or 5+ years of experience managing district or regional operations for retail/commercial, or a large single commercial store with multiple managers and 100+ employees.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
• The ability to multi-task, being self-motivated, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
