Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. is seeking an Area Leader Trainee - Retail Sales to oversee 12-14 store locations and train store teams to deliver exceptional customer service. The program emphasizes hands-on coaching and in-depth training over about 12 months.

Eligible candidates bring a four-year degree or 5+ years of district/regional retail operations experience; a valid driver's license is required. The role offers a company vehicle for business use, strong benefits, and clear paths to regional leadership.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
• 5+ years of district or regional operations management experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 12-14 store locations and supervise Store Leaders.
• Implement merchandising programs, control cash and inventory, and drive customer service.
• Manage profit and loss, budgeting, and cost controls.
• Set performance goals and monitor results with upper management.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced multi-unit environment.

What you bring:

• Staffing, training, and supervising Store Leaders
• Implementing merchandising programs, controlling cash and inventory, motivating and teambuilding, and promoting excellent customer service
• A focus on profit and loss management including budget planning, maximizing sales, and controlling expenses.
• Setting performance goals and objectives while monitoring results with upper management
• A 4-year degree from an accredited college or university in a related field or 5+ years of experience managing district or regional operations for retail/commercial, or a large single commercial store with multiple managers and 100+ employees.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
• The ability to multi-task, being self-motivated, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
