Superior Industries Inc. is seeking an Area Lead for Fabrication to guide production on the 80 Don Luis Trujillo Blvd site in Belen, NM. You will lead daily operations, coach staff, and uphold safety and quality standards to keep the fabrication line productive.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement, with a schedule from 6:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, supporting a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualificações

• Review and completes preventive maintenance documentation.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

An Area Lead for Fabrication is responsible for completing the following duties:

• Serve as a working leader, actively supporting production and stepping into job functions as needed.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to drive performance and accountability.
• Lead daily safety initiatives, including morning safety meetings.
• Ensure product quality standards are maintained throughout the line.
• Maintain accurate contact logs and production documentation.
• Oversee product and material flow to support efficient operations.
• Support daily and weekly 5S activities to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Review and completes preventive maintenance documentation.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Shift

• 6:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of basic fabrication equipment, including plasma tables, press brakes, shears, plate rolls, and band saws.
• Skilled in blueprint reading, ProNest plate nesting, leadership, time management, training, problem-solving, and communication (written and verbal); AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to lead, train, and develop others within the department.
• Committed to supporting a culture of stewardship, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on getting tasks completed efficiently and reliably.
