A Day in the Life
The Area Innovation Manager (AIM) is a field-based Medtronic Endoscopy (GI) sales position. The individual will call on MSO/IDN headquarters, hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers (ASC), physician offices, and will support their assigned geographic area. The AIM aligns with internal and external stakeholders to execute and accelerate meaningful outcomes for strategic organizational initiatives and will serve as a customer-facing product expert. This position primarily focuses on protecting and expanding the utilization of Medtronic AI platforms in GI Genius by executing market development and sales activities. Individuals will transfer knowledge and best practices to accelerate the technology’s adoption by the broader sales force. The role involves developing solutions to a broad range of issues at the account level, requiring cross-functional interactions and leadership with only high-level guidance. The position is remote; the candidate must reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts. A valid driver’s license is essential. This role covers multiple states and is ideally based in Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Boise, ID; or Sacramento, CA, with significant travel including overnights.
