Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a senior HR leader to serve as a trusted advisor to Area Staff and local management.

The role aligns HR strategy with business objectives, acts as the primary HR liaison for the area, and drives field execution while managing employee relations complexities. The incumbent will lead an HR team, collaborate with regional partners, influence business strategy, and oversee workforce planning, talent routines, investigations, and change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of HR experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Labor relations experience required.
• Ability to build relationships with senior leaders across the organization.
• 50% travel required.

Responsibilities

• Drive achievement of key results for the area.
• Collaborate with Business Leaders to influence business strategy including employee and labor relations.
• Participate in meetings with Business Leaders to align HR strategy with business objectives.
• Communicate and implement new policies and processes within the area.
• Lead talent planning and execution, including performance improvement and routine cycles.
• Investigate complex Employee Relations and HR matters.
• Advise Area Leaders on complex employee relations issues and risk management.
• Support culture change initiatives and change management strategies.
• Assist with organizational structuring and workforce analysis for RIFs.
• Promote positive employee relations and associate experience.
• Coordinate implementation plans from employee surveys.
• Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and functional partners.
• Provide input on area training needs to Region leadership.
• Lead the area HR team with coaching and development.
• Other duties as assigned; travel up to 50%.
