Abbott seeks an Area Finance Manager to support two Area Vice Presidents in Austin, TX. You will partner with Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to forecast, analyze, and present financial insights across products and geographies.

You will lead analyses that drive sales growth, profitability and efficiency, while coordinating monthly closes and ad hoc modeling for strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, planning and modeling.
• Ability to prioritize, influence, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication across org levels.
• Travel approximately 5%.

Responsibilities

• Produce analyses and decision support to drive sales growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to evaluate initiatives and monitor effectiveness.
• Provide leadership with performance trends and improvement proposals.
• Analyze data by geography, account, product and sales reps.
• Recommend solutions for territory alignment and field productivity.
• Forecast sales and expenses for planning; develop action plans.
• Oversee monthly close and financial modeling/analyzes.
