US Foods is seeking an Area Director, Finance I to lead the financial strategy and forecast for one or more Distribution Centers. You will partner with the Area President and cross-functional leaders to drive growth, optimize profitability, and ensure effective financial controls.

You will own P&L management, support balance sheet health, and translate financial insights into actionable business decisions. Strong leadership and collaboration across multiple sites are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of accounting/financial analysis management experience.
• Proven ability to lead and influence others.
• Knowledge of finance, budgeting, cost control, and SOX.

Responsibilities

• Lead Area finance strategy and forecast development.
• Partner with Area President and cross-functional leaders to drive growth and profitability.
• Drive operational cost improvements and EBITDA enhancements.
• Manage P&L and balance sheet health within the Area.
• Provide clear financial guidance and actionable insights to leadership.
• Coordinate annual business planning and monthly forecasts.
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and controls.
• Lead finance training and development for Area/DC teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Management, and COE on profitability decisions.
• Support inventory management and working capital optimization.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as needed.
