You will work closely with Operations Managers and Inside Sales Reps to ensure deliveries are scheduled and executed to guarantee superior service.

The role emphasizes safety, with required DOT knowledge, strong leadership and clear communication to keep crews aligned and customer operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, organization and communication skills.
• Diligent attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dispatch of drivers within the metro-area to maximize efficiency and delivery responsiveness.
• Monitor driver progress and adjust schedules as pick-up and delivery orders come in.
• Maximize truck loads outbound and inbound.
• Optimize use of overtime and outside haulers to deliver superior customer service.
• Support branches in maintaining customer relations via phone, making additions, cancellations, and changes.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and accountability through pro-active communication.
• Perform all safety inspections within company and governmental policies.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

What you'll do
