Job summary

Fellowship of Christian Athletes is seeking a Director to grow the ministry by praying, staffing, and funding the area through the Advancement Lanes: Ministry, Board, Donor, Talent and International. This role aligns with the Regional VP and board to execute a ministry plan and disciple coaches and athletes through consistent environments.

The Director will develop and implement a ministry plan for the assigned area, ensuring biblical standards and FCA policies are followed while expanding donor

Responsibilities

• Agree with FCA's Christian Community Statement and uphold biblical standards in all ministry actions.
• Provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, and worship.
• Be actively connected to a local church and model regular worship and weekly involvement.
• Lead advancement efforts to engage coaches, athletes and volunteers via 1-on-1s, Huddles and events.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop a diverse staff aligned with the ministry plan.
• Equip staff to mentor others, grow capacity, and pursue future leadership opportunities.
• Develop volunteers and staff to expand FCA impact in the Sports Environments.
• Lead fundraising and financial management to sustain ministry growth.
• Train staff to grow Home Teams, major donors, and events through a budget and funding plan.
• Support International Region by mobilizing staff and volunteers to pray, give, and go.
