Job summary

Young Life Northeast Texas Region seeks a Christ-centered Area Director for Prosper, TX. This Dallas suburb features strong school communities and a growing youth population; the role demands hands-on ministry, team leadership and a passion for sharing the Gospel.

You will develop spiritual life in volunteers, recruit and train staff, and collaborate with regional leadership to cast vision, raise funds, and expand ministry reach while upholding Young Life policies.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ year of related ministry experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
• A call to reach kids with the Gospel.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must complete Core Training - Phase One within 36 months of hire date.
• Education: College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead or co-lead multiple clubs and ministry programs.
• Recruit, train and supervise volunteers and staff.
• Develop area vision and strategic ministry plan.
• Coordinate fundraising and donor relations.
• Engage in spiritual development and youth outreach.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Young Life policies.
