Job summary

FCA invites a Director to grow the ministry in Southwest Colorado by praying, staffing, and funding through the Advancement Lanes: Ministry, Board, Donor, Talent and International. The Director collaborates with regional leadership to execute a ministry plan aligned with FCA values and biblical standards, building a culture of discipleship across staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes.

The role emphasizes leadership in recruiting, training, and developing diverse staff and volunteers;

Responsibilities

• Agree with, and abide by FCA's Christian Community Statement.
• Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study for the ministry.
• Provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example.
• Be connected to and participate in a local church through worship and weekly involvement.
• Maintain biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's beliefs.
• Oversee recruiting, hiring, training and development of effective and diverse staff.
• Train staff to empower coaches and athletes to be disciples who make disciples.
• Recruit, hire, train and develop volunteers aligned with the ministry goals.
• Invite, involve, and invest in leadership boards to advance the ministry.
• Serve as chief fundraiser and financial manager; develop budgeting and funding plans.
• Mobilize staff and volunteers to pray, give, and go to support the International Region.
