Dine Brands Global, Inc. is seeking an Area Director to oversee the operations of five Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar locations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and strong financial performance.

You will lead culture, develop managers, and drive operational excellence across locations, while maintaining brand standards and fostering a collaborative, accountable team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in multi-unit leadership roles in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of achieving operational, financial, and people-related goals.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire teams through servant leadership and a growth mindset.
• Strong business acumen with a focus on cost controls, sales building, and profitability.

• Leadership & Culture Development: Foster a positive and inclusive culture that inspires teams to deliver exceptional guest service and coach managers to reach their potential.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure consistency with Applebee’s standards and drive accountability for quality, cleanliness, speed, and hospitality.
• People Development: Train and retain high-performing managers and develop General Managers through hands-on mentorship.
• Financial Management: Meet or exceed financial goals by growing top-line revenue and managing controllable expenses, by analyzing reports and implementing improvements.
• Community Engagement: Strengthen ties by engaging in local events and representing the brand as a valued partner.
