Job summary

FCA is seeking a Director to grow the ministry across its regions through prayer, staffing, and funding. Collaborate with Regional VP, staff, and boards to execute a ministry plan that aligns with FCA values and vision.

The Director will lead staff and volunteers across ministerial lanes, ensuring biblical standards and FCA policies are followed while developing strategic discipleship in the Sports Environments.

Qualifications

• Follow a spiritual rhythm including daily prayer and Bible study.
• Lead staff, volunteers, coaches and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship and living by example.
• Be connected to and participate in a local church.
• Conduct yourself in a manner that affirms biblical standards of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Engage, equip, and empower coaches, athletes, and volunteers through 1-on-1s, Huddles and events.
• Train staff to empower coaches and athletes to be disciples who make disciples.
• Oversee recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff.
• Recruit highly qualified staff prospects to ministry opportunities identified in the ministry plan.
• Hire, ensure funding, and onboard to fulfill roles based on calling, character, competence and chemistry.
• Train staff to grow capacity and competence to execute responsibilities.
• Develop staff to lead self, others, teams and organization in current roles and future opportunities.
• Ensure recruiting and training of volunteers aligns with ministry growth in Sports Environments.
• Invite, involve, and invest in leadership boards committed to pray, serve, and give.
• Encourage Representatives to surround themselves with Advisory Teams.
• Serve as chief fundraiser and financial manager.
• Provide tools, resources, and training for FCA staff to fund the ministry by connecting, communicating, and caring for donors.
• Establish and execute an annual budget and funding plan by training and developing staff in growing Home Teams, major donors, and events.
• Serve the aligned International Region by mobilizing staff and volunteers to pray, give, and go.
