Mosaic is seeking an Area Director to lead our Rockford, IL operations and team. The role focuses on building top talent, ensuring quality services, and forging strong community partnerships to improve outcomes for individuals served.

You will translate financial metrics into strategic decisions, balance budgets with service delivery, and embody Mosaic’s values of belonging and inclusion in everyday leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in human services with 2+ years in supervision.
• Experience with budget management and quality compliance.
• Strong public speaking and community relations skills.
• Willingness to travel locally/regionally and hold a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field.
• Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years in human services, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Operational Expertise: Proven background in budget management, staff development, and quality compliance preferred.
• Community Builder: Strong public speaking and relationship-building skills to connect with families, state officials, and community leaders.
