Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Area Construction Manager to join the Data Center Design, Engineering, & Construction (DEC) Team. The ACM oversees New Builds, retrofits, and live environment changes across multiple regions, leading 8–10 direct reports and a matrix of Safety, QAQC, and Project Controls professionals.

Travel is significant (50%+), with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget while fostering partnerships and applying lessons learned to future programs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional construction and project planning experience.
• Experience with large-scale projects ($500M+/yr).
• Design and construction supply chain experience.
• Experience with contract delivery methods and change orders.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee New Build, land ready and Construction Ready sites and onboarding of new hires.
• Provide clear communications to Area Manager and leadership on delivery status.
• Manage project KPI health and financial performance.
• Lead site teams, modeling Meta's culture and driving collaboration.
• Guide contract negotiations and CCAM preparations; review contracts and COs.
• Coordinate with other Area Construction Managers to share best practices.
